TriTonia, the debut feature film by Marcelle Marais is a fever-dream of blood, guts, cosmic gore and most importantly the transmogrification of trauma into our higher selves. An homage to the silent films of the 1920's TriTonia was shot entirely on super8, accompanied by a haunting soundscape performed live by the synth noise quartet; TriTonian Mass. The film takes you on a kaleidoscopic journey of feral lust, psychological horror, and sexual deviance, celebrating the feminine Devine and challenging social constructs of sexuality.
